A government minister’s had his Twitter account flagged by the company for “potentially sensitive images or language”.
Laurence Skelly’s account was flagged by the company earlier today – with users being asked to confirm whether they really want to see his Tweets.
The Economic Development Minister joined the social media site in 2010 and has Tweeted more than 8,900 times.
Twitter brought in the system this week to tackle online trolling, but doesn’t notify those affected and hasn’t explained how the notifications work.
After another user raised it with Mr Skelly this morning, he said he'd look into it.
@2of Good question. Have to check my settings - thanks for highlighting.
