A Liverpool woman who died following a car crash during the TT fortnight suffered chest injuries.
The inquest into the death of 84-year-old Phyllis Hine was opened at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
She was involved in a 'high speed' crash between a Peugeot van and a Suzuki car on Peel Road on June 5th.
She went into cardiac arrest at the scene and was taken to Noble's Hospital where she suffered another cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham offered his condolences to her family and adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
