John McGuinness vows to give it his all in senior race

Following on from last years severe dissapointment in the TT with not even a podium finish, John McGuinness is going into today's Senior Race full of confidence after a largely positive TT week.

He kicked off his campaign with a win in the first Superbikes race, making it his 16th TT victory.

He told 3FM following the race that he never expected to win a TT race again.

It won't be plain sailing for the Morecambe man though, he'll face very tough competition in the form of Michael Dunlop, Gary Johnson and Bruce Anstey, who have all won races this week.

He's vowed to go as fast as he can, but says it's far too closely contested to be too confident.
