The Isle of Man team suffered last night at the hands of a young vibrant Gibraltarian side, losing 2-0.
Reports from the match say the Island were totally outclassed by the side who could have easily added to their tally had it not been for keeper Max Thomas.
Max’s display earned him Man of the Match and kept the scoreline respectable.
The goals came from two misplaced passes from Nick Hurt and Jonny Myers with the Gibraltar side quick to capitalise.
The team now face Guernsey in the battle for 3rd place in the FA International Shield tomorrow at 4pm, with very hot conditions forecast.
