IOM Constabulary 'seized more drugs in 2022-23 than ever before.'

That's according to former Chief Constable Gary Roberts, in his last annual report.

The total street value of drugs recovered came to just under £2m, including over 88kg of cannabis.

Over the course of the year there were also 100 drug-driving arrests.

Each drug wipe kit costs around £16, and the cost of testing blood samples comes to around £600 - the report says officers arrested so many people, the forensic science budget was spent within the first half of the year.
