Government promises no more 'food-based mishaps' following a typo in a survey sent out to residents.

Household Income and Expenditure Survey invitations were sent out to a portion of the Island so inflation can be accurately measured.

However, some of the letters sent by the Cabinet Office mistakenly contained the words 'tomato puree.' 

Government has said 'while they may be a little red-faced in the statistics office,' this has been fixed for the next batch of letters.
