A Douglas woman has revealed why she persuaded her boyfriend into auditioning for a UK TV show.
Emma Smith, from Cronk-y-berry, sent a video to the X factor of her partner Sam singing.
27 year old Sam originally auditioned on the Island, but has since travelled to Liverpool to sing in front of the Judges - and made it through this weekend.
