Flying restrictions expected for Red Arrows display

Flying into airspace used by the Red arrows during their TT display could land you with a five-year prison sentence.

During Tynwald's April sitting, members will look at new regulations preventing pilots getting too close to the aerobatics team.

On June 7, anyone flying within six nautical miles of Douglas Bay could face a £10,000 fine or a jail term.

The regulations say the only exception to the rule is the Red Arrows themselves.
