The amount of sewage being treated at the Island's largest waste plant has reduced by almost 10 per cent over the past five years.
A Freedom of Information request to the Manx Utilities Authority asked how much sewage is being treated at the Meary Veg plant in Santon.
In its response, the MUA says the figure's steadily dropped since 2012.
It says the amount has fallen from just under 12.3 million cubic metres in 2012, to 11.1 million in 2016.
