Deep vein thrombosis up for GP discussion

Doctors will meet this week to discuss priorities within the health service.

It's part of a series of three-monthly meetings which look at developments in medical care and best practice. 
 
The Department of Health and Social Care says the sessions ensure patients are provided with the highest quality of care. 
 
It does mean that people won't be able to attend appointments on Wednesday - however emergency cover will be in place.
