It seems the finer details regarding the future of the Manx Grand Prix will be confirmed over the coming days.
The DED and MMC have released a joint statement saying they had a productive meeting on Wednesday.
The two have had a series of discussions over recent months in a bid to negotiate a new format for the MGP after the government conducted a review in to the event’s finances.
Both parties say that positive and productive discussions took place, which are still ongoing, and as soon as further details are available a press release will be issued.
Entries have now closed for this year's event and they’ve confirmed a small increase in the number of entries.
