Council considers pay and display at Noble's Park

Douglas council looks set to install cashless pay and display machines in Noble's Park.

A council meeting later this month will consider the moves after planning permission was granted for the pay and display parking area and motorhome site.

The cashless and contactless machines will cost less than £10,000 and the local authority says could bring in around £14,000 a year.

Councillors say introducing the machines will mean correct use of the parking spaces can be enforced properly.
