Allegations that an 81-year-old woman was given an ASBO for feeding the birds in her area are unfounded.
That’s according to the German Parish Commissioners who say allegations relating to stalking Audrey Morrison are also untrue.
Yesterday the Mann Cat Sanctuary took to Facebook claiming that she was issued with an ASBO and told she could go to prison for feeding seagulls near the arboretum in St Johns.
However in a statement released by the commissioners they say there has been an on-going issue for over 15 years and recently a three year old child was attacked by a gull.
Earlier this week a meeting was held with Mrs Morrison to discuss an “acceptable behaviour contract” with a further meeting planned for the future.
