The Island’s airport director says the Isle of Man is lucky it still has a flight route to Gatwick.
Yesterday it was announced that Flybe is selling off all its slots at the London airport – blaming a rise in airport charges and lack of aviation policy.
The airline has sold the arrival and departure slots to easyJet for £20 million.
easyJet already operates a service from the Island to Gatwick and says it’s now looking at a range of options for including increasing frequency.
