Horse owners have been told they can now only exercise their animals in fields.
That's according to Equestrian Safety Isle of Man which says the constabulary is reminding those with horses that taking them on the roads at this time is not on the list of permitted activities during the Coronavirus outbreak.
The equestrian saefty group is calling on its members to support authorities in this decision to keep the highways safe.
New measures have been brought in on the roads to reduce the risk of collisions putting more pressure on emergency services during the COVID-19 pandemic which includes an all-island speed limit of 40mph.
