Coronavirus has claimed its first life on Island.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle made the announcement in today's daily press briefing.
No further details have been given but Mr Quayle said the person passed away at Noble's Hospital and did have underlying health conditions.
He added the family have been informed and a moment's silence was held.
