The Islands banks will now offer mortgage repayment holidays for those financially affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, confirmed the update in a press conference this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Mr Cannan also states there are proposals for further support packages to assist the tourism and fishing sectors.
It comes after 100million pounds worth of financial support packages to help individuals and organisations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
