The Department of Health and Social Care will roll out antibody testing.
Health Minister David Ashford confirmed 10,000 tests have been purchased and will show if a person has had Covid-19 by analysing their blood.
He added the first 5,000 will be put to use soon.
However, Mr.Ashford has warned the presence of the related antibodies doesn't underline an immunity to Coronavirus.
