People could now face a £250 on-the-spot fine, if they're breaching social distancing rules.
The Chief Minister made the announcement in yesterday's Coronavirus press briefing.
Prior to this, Police did have the power to give a £30 fine, but has now been increased.
Those found not following social isolation rules however - could face a hefty £10,000 fine or even three months in prison.
