MMBC MTB Challenge Series

There is a new Mountain Bike Club event starting on the 23rd February. The idea of the series is to challenge yourself by trying to complete as many laps as you can in an hour.
The course will be a 3.3km marked and marshalled lap in Conrhenny Plantation - there will be wide forest tracks and single track looping through the plantation. Ride to your own ability and see how many laps you can complete in an hour then at the next event see if you can beat your time or number of laps.
After you finish you can reward yourself with a hot drink, cake and biking banter!
Entries can be made via the manx mountain bike club Facebook page, click on the British cycling event link. Only two categories will be run open men and open women and all results will be posted in alphabetical competitor order so you can see your number of laps and the time.
Please support this challenge series - we would love to see new faces out to give riding a set course a go! It is aimed at all skill levels with the hope that challenging yourself each week will help increase your fitness and ability - come and have a go!
