Work is at an early stage on producing a ‘master plan’ for Douglas town centre.
Infrastructure Minister David Cretney has confirmed that a document is being drawn up which will cover the central and lower areas of the capital.
He was answering a question from Onchan MHK David Quirk in the House of Keys this morning.
Mr Cretney says it is important that the plan is agreed on, and supported by, the public and private sector.
He says it will give confidence to developers to invest:
