Sailing disruption after boat develops technical fault

This morning's sailing to Heysham will be delayed due to a technical problem with the Ben-my-Chree.

The vessel developed a fault yesterday - it meant services to and from the port were being operated by Manannan.

The 8.45am crossing will now leave Douglas at 9.45am - the Steam Packet Company says this is to ensure the crew achieve the 'regulated hours of rest'.

Passengers are being asked to check in no later than 9am.
