Mark Cavendish goes into today's Stage 12 of the Tour de France wearing the green jersey.

He won yesterday's stage, and picked up the honour for the rider who leads the points competition. He was delighted with the win (audio above)

It's his third win in this tour so far and to witness it the 26 year old had support in France from local school children.

A group from Ramsey Grammar were on the finish line singing the Island's National Anthem as the Manx Missile sprinted to victory.

The teenagers from Ramsey Grammar School and their teacher Rob Sorby were draped in Manx flags.

Cav thanked them for their 'incredible support' on Twitter. He wrote 'Great to see #IsleOfMan's Ramsey Grammar School today! Incredible support at the start & glad I could give you a thrilling finish! Thanks!
