Dangerous overtaking on the Mountain Road yesterday almost caused a head on collision.
That's according to police who are hunting the driver responsible for the incident which happened at around 3.05pm near to Guthrie's Memorial.
The silver or grey vehicle was seen to overtake a line of traffic on the series of corners leading up to Guthries from Ramsey.
Police say this dangerous manoeuvre almost caused a crash involving a vehicle - possibly a white transit van - travelling in the opposite direction.
Anyone who saw what happened has been asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
