The remainder of yesterday’s racing will be taking place today after the tragic death of two riders led to racing on Wednesday being abandoned.

39-year-old Chris Bradshaw, a Traffic Police Officer from Tamworth in Birmingham, and 28-year-old Royal Navy Officer James Adam from Scotland were killed in the same incident at Alpine Cottage.

MHK Geoff Corkish spoke to 3FM about the tragedy, he said unfortunately it is coming to be anticipated that things like this will happen. He said it's "the name of the game."

The road will close today at 11.30AM, with racing due to start at 12:15PM.
