Charity Anthony Nolan is embarking on a major campaign to get 10,000 men aged 18-30 on its blood stem cell donor register before the autumn.
An appeal has gone out to young Island residents to play their part and sign up.
Currently there is a young Manx resident in need of a donor, and the charity are hoping that men on the Island will rise to the challenge.
To find out more you can register at a donor recruitment event on 21st September at Crowe Morgan in Douglas, it will run from 10am to 4.00pm.
