Manx Cyclist Mark Cavendish is struggling to find his form in Italy in the opening stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico.
In today’s stage Cav finished in 157th place.
The race is spaced over 7 stages and is seen as a warm up for Cav ahead of defending his title in the Milan San Remo event.
Cav has had a shaky start to his season after returning from injuries caused by dental problems.
