Making Island digitally savvy will save government money

Efforts to 'break down barriers' and get people on the Isle of Man to be more digitally savvy could help government save money. 

That's according to the Cabinet Office which has been supporting 'Get Online Week' which comes to a close tomorrow. 
 
Events have been taking place around the Island as part of the nationwide campaign - organisations have also been encouraged to sign up to the Digital Inclusion Charter. 
 
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says moving services online will allow financial savings to be made - but that will only happen if people embrace the change:
