Critics warming to Festival of Motorcycling

With practice week for the second Festival of Motorcycling now well underway has opinion from some critics changed?

The event - which incorporates both the IMGold Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT events - was restructured last year in an effort to attract more visitors.

When the change was announced ardent Grand Prix supporters felt it would be to the detriment of the event.

We asked clerk of the course Phil Taubman if the success of last year's inaugural festival did anything to change perceptions:
