Companies want license to drill

The government says it's hoping to find companies interested in drilling for gas off the Island's coastline.

The Department of Economic Development has opened a round of licensing to exploit undersea gas reserves.

Bidding will close on Sunday December, 10 and the British Geological Survey will be showing Manx seismic data at an office in Edinburgh.
