Introduce Safe Areas For 'Tombstoning' Says Adventurous Experiences Man

The man behind Island company Adventurous Experiences, Keirron Tastagh has suggested new ways to deal with the dangerous and potentially deadly Summer activity known as tomb-stoning.

It's professionally known as coasteering, an activity for adrenaline junkies where by they people jump into the sea at great heights from a cliff face.

When done properly a major risk assessment is first carried out to ensure that the water below is deep enough, and there are no hidden rocks.

When it goes wrong the sport has been known to claim lives.

Keirron has suggested that areas that are known to be perfect for the sport be referred to as safe zones, he said he'd rather people get the proper information on how to do it safely than for it to be banned outright.
