Cranky Phil threatens to make music in his basement...

Phil Collins has insisted he will stop releasing albums if he continues to be attacked by critics.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said: "All my life I've put out music and people have criticised it. Why keep doing that? I don't need the money.
"In the future I think I'll write songs in my basement and never play for anybody."

Really???..that is a shame I mean you have had so many good songs over the last 15 years...oh wait...no you haven’t.
Fact is as far as the music loving public are concerned Phil Collins retired after Buster.
And just remember "He doesn’t need the money"....
Phil Collins will release an album of Motown covers called Going Back later this year....
He is doing it all for Love obviously!

A 74-year-old from Germany has been fined £12,000 over his splash-happy antics which include dive bombs into his local pool.
The 74-year-old was accused of terrorising fellow swimmers for years with his explosive dives, spitting in the water and even dunking a young girl underwater.
It was said that for years his "Arschbomben" - the German for dive-bomb which actually translates as "ass bomb" - scared other swimmers.

It would seem after many many years that "German" & "Bombing" still make people nervous!

According to reports, the rapper showed up over the weekend to The Hollywood Palladium for a benefit gig and threw another one of his egotistical tantrums backstage.

The rapper was allegedly upset over his not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man eating chicken, West blurted, "Why wasn't I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating... why am I not eating?"

Because everyone hates you??

After finally stamping his feet for long enough someone brought him some chicken which he took a bite off and then threw in the bin.

So firstly in my inbox this morning was an email regarding the Michael Jackson Movie "This Is It". I really hope the cinema’s on the Isle of Man take note and get this on in October.

Having watched the trailer and as one of the thousands that had tickets to see MJ at the O2 it saddens me to see how amazing the show was gonna be. Everyone has their own opinion on Jackson but for me the guy was and is a Musical Legend.

The big news of the day is how Kanye stormed the stage at the VMA’s

The first winner of the night, Taylor Swift for best female video, was rudely and quickly interrupted by Kanye West, who cut off her acceptance speech. He stole the microphone to announce that fellow nominee Beyoncé had "one of the greatest videos of all time," in "Single Ladies."

If that sounds painfully cringeworthy just watch the "little man" in action...

Taylor Swift later said "I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I’d just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage...And then I wasn’t excited anymore after that."

Future tip would be to hit him really hard with your award or Microphone...or both!

Pete Waterman has claimed that he would only join The X Factor if the show's producers offered him £1 million.
The former Pop Idol judge admitted that he wouldn't be a panellist in any other circumstance because he disapproves of the way contestants are now "exploited" on TV talent competitions.

So he disapproves of the show but could deal with it with £1 Million in his pocket...hmmm...actually yeah me to!!

Cliff's Conservatory...

Sir Cliff Richard is locked in a battle with planning bosses over a £30,000 conservatory, it has been revealed.
The singer has been ordered to demolish the structure at his home in Surrey after officials at Runnymede Borough Council decided that the erection is too big.
He has since argued that the conservatory's manufacturers told him he did not need permission to put it up.
